The details that matter
What it is and what it is not
It is a record of the care you have given. It is not a medical record and it does not replace your vet's own notes, which are the authoritative ones. It answers when did we last do X, which is the question you are actually being asked.
Household care is included
If your partner gave the flea treatment, it is in the export, because tasks are recorded against the household with the member who completed them. That is the whole reason the record is trustworthy rather than partial.
Archived and memorial profiles keep their history
A pet that has passed can be archived rather than deleted. The history and the photos remain, and can still be exported.
It never leaves without you
Export is something you initiate. Nothing is sent anywhere on your behalf, and there is no server holding a copy, because there is no server.

Care history export is part of Premium at $19.99 a year, $34.99 once, or $2.99 monthly. The underlying history is recorded on the free tier, so switching to Premium later exports everything you have logged, not just what happened afterwards.
Questions, answered
Can I use this instead of a vet record?
No. Your vet's clinical records are the real ones. This is a record of the care you have given at home, which is a genuinely useful thing to bring to an appointment and a genuinely bad thing to rely on as a medical history.
Does the free tier record history?
Yes. Everything you complete is logged from day one regardless of tier. Premium adds the ability to export it, so nothing is lost by starting free.
What format is the export?
A PDF, laid out to be read by a person. It is designed for handing over at an appointment rather than for importing into another system.
Can I export a plant's history too?
Yes. It is useful when you pass a plant on, and quietly educational when you compare what you intended to do with what you actually did.
